One of my growing list of complaints with the London Underground is it's hours of operation. Unlike many other metros, the Tube does not run 24/7 but instead shuts down around 1:00 AM. Thus, leaving millions of stranded (often inebriated) citizens to find alternative forms of transportation home. Enter the night bus.
An experience to behold, I think everyone who visits the city should participate in as it is a right of passage. That being said I shall let a writer who is infinitely more articulate describe the glory of the night bus: here, don't worry it's not a long read.
"It's precious while it lasts, though. You may be the sentimental side of several pints but you're proud to call London your home."
